🍃A nearly forgotten view... rediscovered. 🍃

As the renovation work continues at Snowdonia Staycations, this little moment stopped us in our tracks.

It’s a view we had almost forgotten in the midst of plaster, paint and tools.

Framed perfectly through the window, a scene so serene - sunshine dancing on the grass, the willow swaying gently……and just beyond, the soft glimmer of the weir waterfall, flowing steadily as ever.

We're still hard at work bringing this special place back to life, but views like this remind us why it's worth every effort and why we fell in love with Willow Falls.

Progress is being made! 🥳 😊

Bank Holiday Bash at Glan Gwna!
💦Pool opens. 🍗BBQ fires up.
🪩Entertainment goes BIG!!!!!

This May Bank Holiday weekend, Glan Gwna turns into the party capital of Snowdonia (well... at least our corner of it).

🌺 Hawaiian shirts? Optional. 👍 Good times?Guaranteed.

So, What's on?

💷Friday, 9pm: Bingo with Bill - win big or just enjoy Bill's banter.

🎶Saturday, 8pm: Fleetwood Mac Tribute - all the hits, none of the drama.

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒Sunday, 4pm: Kids' Puppet Show - laughs, puppets, and peace for parents.

Sunday, 8pm: Soul & Motown with A.Kay. - bring your dancing shoes and best moves.

Poolside BBQ starts Saturday at 12pm - burgers 🍔 , sun ☀️ (hopefully), and maybe a beer 🍺 if you're lucky. 😉

It's the small things in life...👌

Like finally getting a rotary line that holds super king-size bedding without folding it in half like a soggy deckchair.

Add in a rare spell of glorious sunshine, and suddenly washing holiday let bedding feels like a minor life win……..and yes, I’m far too excited about it 🤣

The food festival in Caernarfon is back!

🍴Brilliant day for foodies, jam packed full of incredible stalls from all across Wales.

Top tips:
⭐️ it’s always busy, so try to get public transport or walk ino the town centre.
⭐️Take a little chair
⭐️Take plenty of sunscreen
⭐️ Drink lots (water 😉) you will need it today!
⭐️Take cash
⭐️Don’t forget to go over the bridge to Coed Helen, plenty for kids over there.
⭐️ If you came last year, remember your refillable cup.

🌧️ We've Been a Bit Quiet... 🏡💔

Usually by now, we’d be buzzing with updates about the Poolside Bars entertainment line up, local adventures, and discount codes galore. But this season’s start at Snowdonia Staycations hasn’t quite gone to plan...

Over the closed season, our beloved Lily Pad Lodge suffered some pretty devastating storm damage. The entire felt roof was torn off by brutal winds, and the water damage that followed has sadly left her uninhabitable for now. It’s been a whirlwind of insurance claims, builder quotes, and countless calls – but we’re proud to say that every single guest who was booked into Lily Pad for this year, has been taken care of, and still smiling. That means the world to us.

At the same time, Willow Falls is still mid-renovation (more hiccups than we’d hoped for), so that leaves us with just one beautiful spot ready to welcome you…

✨ Cân Yr Afon – our little gem – is open, sparkling, and just a little bit magical. She’s got charm, flair, and decor that calms the soul. And right now, she’s carrying the torch for all of Snowdonia Staycations.

We’re facing higher expenses, stricter regulations for holiday lets and its going to be a very challenging year, so, if you're thinking of a Snowdonia getaway, or, just want to support a small business trying to bounce back, we’d so appreciate a share to help get the word out.

Thanks for sticking with us through the quiet. We’re still here, still standing (just a bit soggy), and more determined than ever to make your stay unforgettable. We will be back to the socials with tips, tricks and beautiful days out etc very soon.

Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus - Happy St David's Day!

And the first day of meteorological spring-Hurray!

Welsh people celebrate the life of St David on March 1st by wearing a daffodil or leek and preparing traditional Welsh dishes such as cawl and Welsh cakes.
Today we also celebrate Glan Gwna Holiday Park N.Wales re-opening for the 2025 season.

We can’t wait to welcome you back this year to our little slice of heaven in Wales.
Fingers crossed for some fabulous weather too. 🤞🏻
