Forthcoming road closure T6
There will be a temporary road closure on Neath Road Ystradgynlais on 26th and 27th May 2026 due to resurfacing between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00. Due to the location of these works it is necessary to put in temporary arrangements to enable to the service to operate reliably.
The following journeys will not be affected by the closure and will operate the normal route.
06:40 Ynyswen to Swansea and 06:53 Brecon to Swansea
17:11 Swansea to Brecon, 18:21 Swansea to Brecon, 19:11 Swansea to Ynyswen. 20:11 Swansea to Ynyswen

During the closure journeys from Swansea will operate normally as far as Neath and then divert via Rhos and Pontardawe and resume normal service at Ystradgynlais. Aberdulais and Crynant will not be served by these journeys. Any journeys that would normally serve Neath Road Ystradgynlais outside of the closure hours will continue to do so
Journeys operating from Brecon will operate normally between Brecon and Ystradgynlais and then divert via Pontardawe and Rhos, before resuming normal service at Neath. Crynant and Aberdulais will not be served by these journeys.
A limited service will operate during the hours of the road closure between Crynant and Neath to allow onward travel to both Swansea and Ystradgynlais. Any journeys that would normally serve Neath Road Ystradgynlais outside of the closure hours will continue to do so.
Departures from Crynant to Neath at 10:10, 12:10, 14:10 & 16:10 and will be operate the normal route to Neath
You will be able to connect with a T6 at Neath for Swansea or Ystradgynlais.
Departures from Neath to Crynant at 11:33, 13:33, 15:36, 16:36 operating the normal route via Aberdulais to Crynant

On Sunday 24 May our 14, 116 & 43 Service will divert Via Uplands & Sketty between 12.00 > 16.00 for the Swansea Triathlon.

We will be running a Sunday service on Bank Holiday Monday 25 May 25. The 905 service will run as normal.
