START YOUR CAREER WITH ADVENTURE TRAVEL! 🚌

We’re looking for Apprentice Mechanics to join our Engineering teams in Cardiff and Swansea.

If you have a passion for vehicles, enjoy hands-on work and want to build a career in the bus and coach industry, this could be the opportunity for you.

As an Adventure Travel Engineering Apprentice, you’ll receive a combination of on-the-job experience and formal college training, working towards an NVQ Level 3 in Transport Engineering Maintenance.

You’ll gain practical experience across our fleet, including vehicle servicing and maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs, and supporting breakdowns and recoveries – all while learning from our experienced Engineering team.

To apply, you’ll need:
🔧 A minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above in English, Maths and a Science, or equivalent
🔧 A genuine interest in engineering and the transport industry
🔧 Ideally, you’ll have already completed one year as an apprentice mechanic

With continued specialist training available as you progress, this is more than an apprenticeship – it’s the opportunity to build a long-term career with one of South Wales’ largest bus operators.

🎒🚌 Back to School? Travel for Just £1 per Journey!

Getting to and from school doesn’t need to be complicated. With Adventure Travel, eligible students can travel for just £1 per journey on their selected service.

Before you travel, here are a few important things to remember:

📱 Using an M-ticket?
Please only activate your ticket when boarding the bus. Activating it beforehand may cause it to become invalid, and you’ll need mobile data available to use your M-ticket.

🎟️ Buying on the bus?
Only single journey tickets are available to purchase on board.

🚌 Your pass can only be used on the service it was purchased for, and passengers must have a valid pass or payment to travel.

🎓 Aged over 16 and using a college pass on one of our service buses?
You’ll also need to show a valid My Travel Pass to qualify for the £1 travel scheme.

We're delighted to welcome four new buses to our Swansea depot, ready to operate on the TrawsCymru T6 route.

Supplied by Transport for Wales, these 24-plate vehicles have been specifically chosen for the T6 service. They're more robust and better suited to the varied terrain along the route, helping us deliver a safe, reliable and comfortable journey for our customers.
