The Funny Farm - West Wales Holidays for all the family including the pet dog(s), close to fabulous beaches, walks, fun for all the family.

Based in Ceredigion SA44 5NR this is a non-working small-holding with many rescue animals. We have a 3 bed static sleeps 4 and a 2 bed Barn Conversion Cottage sleeps 4 and The Folly Cottsge sleeps 3. All holiday lets are fully enclosed each with private hot tub. We are within walking distance to Village Pub serving great meals, the Village Shop and we are a short drive to nearby beaches, coastal walks and the Towns of Cardigan and Carmarthen

Thank you Sara & Evan for the photo of Solo as he was about to go home after a 5 day visit with us last week - Solo doesn't think he is a cat and doesn't like other cats hence his name as very happy on his own, a rescue boy who has a great family who understand his needs - his way or no way - however, he was very happy to relax in front of the log burner and chill out with his owners

Ray & Maria with their very lovely Berty have gone home today after their 2 weeks in the Barn Cottage, doesn't seem possible where all the years have gone as they were one of our first guests over a decade ago and have been returning yearly ever since - thank you for the lovely Plant and Chocolates, has been lovely to catch up and how lucky was Ray this time - no mucking out duties and no fencing repair jobs required - Ray has always helped us out over the years as do other guests/friends which we are always so grateful for help now and then - found some old photos from previous visits and a younger Berty

Equines ready for winter, rugs all sorted out in case the temperatures really drop (Willow naked as had a groom and tidy up - Shadow naked as he is a devil to get a rug on but that is a battle for another day) and yesterday thank goodness the weather was dry for an afternoon of pedicures for the equines who behaved very well for our very fabulous farrier

Sadly our regulars have had to cancel their week with us here in Ceredigion SA44 5NT from 31st October to 7th November in the Barn Cottage - £525 for the week without private hot tub or £575 with hot tub - private use of one of the fully enclosed dog paddocks, any breed of dog and unlimited number of dogs accepted. Cottage has 1 Double Bedroom, 1 Twin Bedroom and is fully enclosed with a short walk to the dog paddocks, a short drive to various beaches New Quay to Poppit Sands (Cardigan), Carmarthen 14 miles

You know when Denise Maisey and Nick have been to stay - a grand clear up - us women drink coffee and chat whilst the men do their thing outside - sadly several dead and dangerous trees have had to come down this year and oh what a mess to clear up - nothing goes to waste, donkeys and goats enjoy the branches and the wood chopped up for the log burners
