✨ 3 Years as a Travel Counsellor ✨

Today marks my 3 year anniversary with Travel Counsellors, and it felt like the perfect opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you.

To every client who has trusted me with their travel plans over the last three years, thank you from the bottom of my heart. It is never something I take for granted.

Holidays are so much more than a booking. They represent hard-earned money, precious annual leave, bucket-list experiences, family celebrations, honeymoons, reunions, adventures, and memories that will last a lifetime. To be entrusted with helping create those moments is both a privilege and a responsibility that I cherish.

I genuinely love what I do. From the initial conversations and research, to finding exactly the right fit, piecing together the details, working with trusted suppliers, arranging those extra special touches, checking you in before departure, and being there when you need support, I am grateful to play a small part in your journey.

The last few months have certainly reminded us that travel can sometimes face unexpected challenges and uncertainty. Whilst those situations are never ideal, they are often when travel professionals come into our own. There are no call centres, no long waits, and no passing the buck. When issues arise, I am here to advocate for my clients, find solutions, and get things sorted as quickly as possible. It’s all part of the service and support that sits behind every booking.

Thankfully, you’ve kept me incredibly busy, and for that I am so grateful. Your continued support, recommendations, repeat bookings, messages, photos and stories mean more than you know.

What an incredible few days celebrating 130 years of HX Expeditions onboard MS Fridtjof Nansen 🚢✨

From Hamburg, we sailed to the beautiful red cliffs of Helgoland and the dunes beyond, spotting hundreds of Northern Gannets, exploring wartime history, experiencing the science centre onboard, and getting a real insight into expedition cruising.

What stood out most to me wasn’t just the stunning scenery, stylish cabins, delicious all-inclusive dining or exceptional crew… it was the passion. The expedition team genuinely love what they do, and that enthusiasm is completely infectious without ever feeling “salesy”.
