Little Minnows is based on the edge of the Galloway Forest in Dumfries and Galloway. This is a superb area for walking, wildlife, fishing and Dark Sky. Easily accessed and is 75 minutes from Glasgow and 9
0 mins from Gretna. The cabin provides smart and comfortable self catering accommodation for two people which is exclusive to you and your dogs (3 Labrador size or up to 6 if smaller breed). Dogs are permitted everywhere and throws are available if you do not bring your own. The flooring is grey waterproof laminate covered in part by a large Orvis dog mat. The entire area directly around has lots of space for parking and you can sit and relax at the front to admire the view. This area has a stock fence ( 31/2 foot)and two five bar gates for access and dog security. Walk through a gate from here and you have your own use of the 15 acres of grounds. This is a mixture of stock fence ( 31/2foot) and deer fence ( 6foot) There are tracks, jumps, ditches and lots of long grass for your dog(s) to enjoy. A separate completely fenced ( 6 foot) exercise area is available to you which is just behind. Electricity, linen and towels are provided along with everything you will need for cooking . Full size fridge, induction hob and combi/ grill microwave. Award winning pub 5 miles, tea room. 2 miles and lochs a short drive away. No wi fi but excellent 4G reception
Little Minnows is also ideal for single travellers as it provides seclusion but it is very safe-CCTV, electric gates to reach it. Happy to provide a large crate for guests if needed free of charge! Extra freezer space is available for raw food .
