Although Apple Cottage is currently for sale, we’ve decided to continue welcoming guests for now and have opened bookings until the end of May.

Beyond that, we plan to release availability on a month-by-month basis, depending on how things progress — so if you’re thinking about a stay, please just get in touch directly at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to arrange dates for you.

Apple Cottage is tucked away near the beautiful Galloway Hills, close to stunning coastlines, woodland walks and the peaceful surroundings of Scotland’s National Book Town, Wigtown. The cottage has a large enclosed garden, is dog friendly, and is within walking distance of a welcoming local pub — making it an ideal base to relax, explore and unwind.

We’d love to welcome a few more guests to enjoy this special corner of Dumfries & Galloway.

Wow….. grass cutting and changeover at Apple, but look at the 🍐 pears. The storm hasn’t amounted to much in Bladnoch, the sun is out and it is dry🌞 Hopefully, the good weather will stay for the Wigtown Agricultural Show on Wednesday.
