I’m so excited that the Cheltenham Ice Rink has been granted planning permission to return again this Christmas! ⛸⛸

It was a fabulous campaign to work on last year & I can’t wait to get stuck in promoting the festive fun in the beautiful setting of Imperial Gardens once again!🎄

Photos were taken during the opening night last year. Local celeb, Tweedy, was under strict instructions by his agent that he was not allowed anywhere near the ice in case he broke a leg & couldn’t perform as the leading man in the Everyman Theatre panto. Of course Tweedy being Tweedy he just couldn’t help himself! 😆

Thankfully there were no broken bones & the show still went on! 😅

The reason we lived in Savannah, Georgia for three years & the reason our eldest was born in the states - the Gulfstream 650 (G650, referred to as G6 in the song!!)

Today we got to take the boys onboard one at the RIAT a real wow moment 🤩 Our lives would’ve been very different without this jet! ✈️

Homeward bound 🙌 Its been a very long week and I can’t wait to get back to my boys. Finally tested negative yesterday. I’m at the airport gate three hours before my flight, I’ve never been so keen to fly home from a holiday before 🤣

So the bad news is my PCR was positive 😥 Good news is I can fly home this weekend which will be ten days from my first symptoms 🙌

I put all my ski wear on today to sit out on the cabin terrace and have a cup of tea. I’m so thankful I’m not stuck in a hotel room waiting for food to be delivered to my door! Also very thankful I don’t feel too ill, just cold symptoms, headache and a little achy, it could have been so much worse.

Really missing my boys today! It feels like a looong time since they left on Saturday 😥

Still waiting for my PCR result to come through. Hopefully tomorrow am. In the meantime, I’m attempting to do some social media for work via my phone (weird to be promoting Cheltenham from Lapland!) and I’m turning into a log fire burning champ 🔥 My first attempt took me a box of matches and a full newspaper 🤣

Thanks to everyone who has sent messages checking in on me. It is very much appreciated 😘 I have plenty to be grateful for. Just wish I had thought to order more than one bottle of wine when I asked hubby to stock up 🤣

Brilliant week in Lapland ⛄️ 🏂 More magical than we had dreamt, (colder at times than we thought possible! Minus 30 when we first arrived 😆)

Boys are all currently flying home. I’ve tested positive on departure LFT so having to stay out here to isolate 😭 Hoping my PCR result is negative and I can come home soon!🤞

If you’ve ever considered a trip to Lapland book it, (when covid times are over!) You won’t regret it x

A brilliant few days with this crazy bunch of ladies in Cheltenham 🥰 I feel so lucky to have met them through travel blogging. We were none stop talking, laughing & taking pics, (of course 🤣). The last time we were all together was a press trip in Italy, 2.5 years ago! This trip was a role reversal, I was the host and organised the press trip through my role . (Tried to persuade hubby to be the decorator in the DIY scene. He was having none of it 😂)
