A popular annual post-Christmas / holiday season event! And raising funds for a great cause Arctic ONE 🏃‍♀️

The Pednor 10 and Relay - is 100 shares possible in 1 week?

The PEDNOR 10 Run and 2 x 5mile relay returns on December 27th 2026
We are delighted that the event this year will again be organised by Chiltern Harriers AC with Arctic ONE benefiting with 50% of the profits.

As with previous years the event is held at Chesham 1879 Tennis Club, HP5 2JU and consists of a 10 mile 2 lap race on undulating roads including a challenging hill and 2 x 5mile relay which has proved very popular.

A fun end of half-term Hallowe’en activity from Chesham Museum! Be brave 👻 and be quick ! 🧙 🧹 … if you’d like one of the 100 prizes! Or equally ‘just’ for fun 🤩

We have gathered all our creepy stories ready for the FREE spooky shops trail!! Join us if you dare on the 31st of October and we also have a free Halloween crafting workshop. A big thanks to as there will be 100 prizes available for the first hundred who complete the trail. Thank you to for her ceramic decorations

Our beloved and historic outdoor pool in The Guardian’s top 10…. Text from article reads “The pool at Chesham Moor sports centre is believed to have begun as a deep puddle used for bathing in the 1890s. Today it is a 25-metre spring-fed lido, upgraded in 2023, with a Nasa-designed ionisation unit, which keeps chlorine levels low. It has solar panels and is heated to 27C year-round, although in very cold weather it may be a little cooler. It is open daily for a mix of lane and general swimming, plus aqua fitness sessions and swim masterclasses. There are also outdoor circuit classes and tennis courts, a nearby riverside walk, and a cafe serving hot drinks, sausage rolls, sandwiches and cake.

A stunning and worthwhile restoration of the 50 year old Town tapestry of Chesham. Its current home is in the Council Chamber which is often in use … so many local groups get a viewing, but if you’d like to view it otherwise please check with Chesham Town Council if /when the room is unoccupied on 01494 774842.
