⚠️🔊 Announcement 🔊⚠️

We are excited to introduce our new division dedicated to assisting both existing and new customers with their CompEx Ex01-04 needs.

This initiative has been in development behind the scenes, and it will enhance our standing in the industrial sector while providing an additional service to our clients.

Over the years, we have received numerous requests for this service, which we had not previously offered, but I recognized the necessity for diversification. Our current customers already demand this service, and we have secured upcoming projects in this area.

We will be undertaking the following services,

Ex01-04 Gas & Vapours ⚠️

- ATEX Installations
- ATEX Maintenance
- ATEX Inspections (Visual, Close and detailed)

I am looking forward to the upcoming projects that are set to commence next month.

Our in house team consists of engineers who are qualified in this field and are fully equipped to support our clients.

Newly Qualified Engineer 😎⚡️

We are proud to announce our last apprentice has now fully qualified as an electrical engineer.

We are so proud of Tylor who came to us around 3 years ago straight from Asda! He enrolled onto his NVQ course and the rest is history!

Tylor has come on leaps and bounds starting fresh, he didn’t know much about the on site experience but he grab it with two hands and knuckled down. He’s been lucky to work with some of the best electricians in the industry and he took advantage of this.

He’s has now matured into a good engineer, his work ethic shines through and he works hard every single day. I don’t even think he’s ever been late for work.

Tylor now continues his journey within the industrial sector working on large industrial projects.

Well done Tylor we are proud of you! 🥳

Saturday Shutdowns ⚡️⚡️

We have teams of engineers on site today as we are shutting down 2 x LV panel’s to connect new PFC units.

Our teams arrived early this morning to do final preparations before we power down the site. This is scheduled with our client to ensure minimal disruption.

We have some exciting news to announce next week on our new division!

Appreciation Post 😀

The team we have at BWG is phenomenal and it shined through this week.

We have a team of engineers carrying out fix wire testing on nights within a factory our team came across old Glasgow switch, upon isolatation and maintenance is came to light the switch had seen better days with burnt connections ect.

Our team immediately notified our client and me, we agreed this could not be switch back on into service but also supplied key production equipment.

11:30pm I received the phone call, luckily we stock various isolators and we had a 400amp ABB, also lugs everything to get the factory back on.

11:45pm I rang a engineer to see if he could load up and assist our team with swapping this isolator

12.00pm (I’m currently away) our office manager who lives next to our HQ attended and let our engineer in to load up.

2:45am our engineer was on site 2 1/2 hours away and began to get straight to work. This wasn’t a straight forward swap.

Due to our engineers on site had already been there 12 hours, I contact two more engineers enjoying there sleep if they could be on site for 6am to take our night shift off and take over the repair.

Our day team arrived on site, there was 2 phase left to lug up and dead testing, live testing to finish and re-energise.

Our team got the power back on and production resumed as normal.

The team really come together and dug in deep when needed giving our customer exceptional support. We was lucky we had everything in stock at our HQ which meant less down time.

I’m so thankful for the team we have built.

Rassam’s coming near you! 🍦🍰🍫🍪🍩

Today I’m joining our project manager on site meeting with our valuable client,

It’s good to listen and see Rassams growth plans for the next few years and see the targets he wants to hit by the end of the year.

We sill be supporting with the Electrical packages with the following,

- Electrical installation
- Emergency Ligthing
- Fire Alarm
- CCTV
- Data
- Audio

We are looking forward to the first one to be started in June and locations to be revealed 👀

Content 🎥

This is a first for us, while I post a lot on social media I’m by far good at content 😂

But Alex reached out to us gave us a few options talked us through the process and I thought yeah we can give it ago.

This is a little video we’ve done on our newest edition to the fleets. We have more plans to do more in the next few months with projects ect.

These vans look amazing though! I’m a believer we have to give our engineers the right tools to deliver the exceptional work. First impressions on site is a must and having uniformed vans is a start 👌🏻

Josh has recently completed a electrical installation project on a new comms room for a valuable client of ours. Josh seen this job from start to finish, the standard of work Josh has produced on this project is exceptional Quality job Josh!

Tylor has kept his van very clean especially externally and internally, very organised van. Having a company van is new to Tylor but he’s setting a standard. I’m a believer presence is a key part in representing our company.

Both received a £50 Amazon voucher ⚡️

We hold little competitions like this throughout the year between our teams and it does get a little competitive but I get clean vans and great photos 😎😜

5am First Van Locked & Loaded

Our teams are still hitting them projects hard on a Friday, 80% of our teams will be on site today at 6am ready give our projects a last push before the weekend.

It’s been a strong start to the month, we have been awarded various projects. Next week we see new projects starting.

We have been awarded a full EICR fix wire testing and thermal imaging on a large factory for a valuable client, this is a complex project due to the factory still in operational.

We will work with our client to ensure all circuits are tested correctly, even if it means out of hours. But we won’t be just taking a loop live test. it’s not how we role.

We will supply our client with a in-depth report followed with a picture report on any defects, we will also label all circuits and tag all cables.

Project Completed ✔️

Our team have recently been working on a project down London at a train depot on a train wheel lathe for RMTS.

We was tasked to install containment,control cabling and final terminations into control panels. Our highly skilled team produced a hassel free project.

This is our second machine installation for RMTS, I’m looking forward for this project to be commissioned and seeing it in full production.

Our teams have experience electrical installation all types of heavy machinery in various industries.

Team Gathering ⚡️

This morning was a busy morning at our HQ

It's always beneficial to bring everyone together to discuss upcoming projects as well as those currently in progress.

I had a chance to give a lighthearted talk about various aspects of our business and our objectives for the remainder of the year.

This also provides an opportunity for our team members to share any thoughts they might have.

And of course, the usual playful banter among the group!

Phase One Complete ✔️

Our team of engineers have completed phase one of our comms project.

We have fitted out a full comms room which consist of the following,

- Electrical supplies and distribution
- Earthing
- Containment
- Emergency Lighting
- Fire Alarm
- Installation of comms cabs
- Installation cabs UPS
- Generator backup with changeover switch

Great effort from our team a nice neat installation within a small setting, just a fresh paint and few minor builder works left.

Now our team have started Phase 2 which is to install containment around a entire factory ready for a fibre installation. This is a very complex job with a live production factory. But with communication and a good planning we ensure our client a smooth transition.
