Site Visit 🏭

Today I headed over to our clients glass plant where we have a team of engineers carrying out a fibre project.

The team have made some solid progress these last few weeks, we have over 3,000 metres installed and dressed.

Our team have tackled this factory head on, this is a live working glass bottle manufacturing site, we have completed all areas from batch plant, hot end, basements, cold ends you name it we’ve installed containment and cabling.

Our team have extensive experience working in live production areas and ensure a safe efficient project delivery for our clients. We have worked closely with each department within the factory to ensure a safe environment.

We have around 1,500 metres to install over the next week.

New Project 💡 ⚡️ 🥶

This week we have engineers covering Falmouth Cornwall, Liverpool, Bristol and midlands Nottingham - Leeds

Today we have a team starting a new project down south on a large frozen storage warehouse.

Our team will be on site around 3 months carrying out a lighting rewire and additional power within the cold store working in temperatures at around -18.

Our engineers are fully kitted out to work in the testing temperatures, we are working close with our client to ensure no down times and day to day operations aren’t effected.

PFC ⚡️

We recently carried out containment and cable installation for our client for a new PFC.

One side of the site was a new installation with a planned shut down, the other LV panel already had a PFC and a upgrade was needed.

Our team installed a ladder containment system with parallel 150mm cables.

A nice little job completed for a valuable client.

Project Completed ⚡️

We have installed over 2,000amp infrastructure on this project for a valuable client.

Our team have worked 7 days a week 12 hour shifts to ensure this project was completed on time, and to the highest quality possible.

We installed various power from 630amp to 6amp supplies, we have completed all containment and supplies to factory machines.

This wasn’t a easy task for our team but they pulled together and delivered a exceptional project, our client is very happy with the outcome.

Glass Manufacturing 🏭

Todays site visits was over at our clients glass manufacturing sites.

We have multiple teams of engineers carrying out various works around the plant.

It was good to catch up with my teams on there progress, we have a team installing containment around a IS machine for Inspection equipment.

We also have a team installing over 4,000 meters of fibre around the plant, we have strategic plan in place with our client to ensure production continues.

It’s all hands on deck at the moment with team covering various sites around the UK.

Project Update ⚡️

Our team have been making very good progress on our factory installation.

We have upgraded a existing 200amp supply to a 400amp, installing additional cable to parallel up to give us sufficient power requirements,

We have installed 1 x 400amp panel board, 1 x 200amp distribution board and 1 x 125amp distribution board. These are dedicated to production lines only, and will support future plans for expansion on the lines.

Our team has work very hard on this project working around a live factory and ensuring a smooth project delivery for our client.

First Van Locked & Loaded 🚐 🔒

6am first van in and loaded up heading to Liverpool for the week, we have a team on 1st fix stage on a commercial shop fit out.

Rest of our teams are due on there projects at 7am in various parts of the UK.

I have a busy week on the road with meetings booked in the following areas,

- Newark
- Knottingley
- Leeds
- Swindon
- Liverpool
- Bristol
- Chesterfield

Some new client meetings and some project update meetings.

New Fleet 🚐

Today we have two new vans hitting the road, our engineers will be at the HQ this morning swapping to there new vans.

I’m a big believer in first impressions,

giving your engineers the right tools for the job,m is just the start, we can’t expect the high standard of work and efficient project delivery’s without kitting our teams out properly.

These vans now will cover the UK covering thousands miles a month supporting our clients, with now over 35 sites to cover we need a reliable fleet.

I’d like to thank Van Fit Solutions who we have been working with closely to get a final design together with kitting out the vans. Now our engineers can work fast and efficient with a organised van.

Supporting Manufacturing ⚡️

We have a team on a glass factory this week replacing various cabling for a IS Machine.

Mind the lack of quality in photos 😅

But our team are supporting our client with new cabling, we ensure a fast efficient installation.

We also have another team on a different plant installing containment around a IS machine for additonal equipment

New vans are ready to support our clients 👌🏻

A massive thank you to A Team Cleaning Services for coming down to our office and giving them a clean and paint protection before they are handed over to our engineers.

Top class service, giving a mobile service makes life a lot easier for us.

Looking forward to these covering the UK.

Weekend Shift 👷🏼‍♂️

We have a team of engineers currently working over the weekend upgrading distribution boards and upgrading supplies.

Here we have a 160amp TP Board, due to our client extending production lines and adding additions in the future.

We assisted our client with advice and options to enhance the power in this area.

We are now installing a 400amp panel board with a 250amp distribution board. Upgrading current 200amp supply to a 400amp supply.

Our team are working over the weekend to ensure minimal down time for our client.

We have teams out 7 days a week at the moment to keep up with workload, we have some exciting projects, but I can’t thank our clients enough for trusting us.

Contract Awarded ⚠️

We have recently been awarded a national contract supporting our client with there ATEX requirements.

We will be carrying out various tasks such as ATEX Inspections, Installations and upgrades across 14 sites in the UK.

This a milestone for us which sees us secure our largest ATEX contract.

I’m happy that our growth in the CompEx industry is growing at a steady pace.

Looking forward to brining new clients on board.
