We said yes to everything in Costa Rica, and not once did we regret it.

Rafting the Sarapiqui River (with Arenal Rafting Company) was the perfect way to kick off the trip. The kids were nervous before we got in the raft and completely hooked by the time we got out, and the river scenery alone made every second of it worthwhile.

Canyoning (with Pure Trek) was the one nobody wanted to go first on. Abseiling down waterfalls into natural pools surrounded by Costa Rican rainforest is exactly as extraordinary as it sounds, and every single one of us wanted to go again the moment we reached the bottom.

Sky Tram and Ziplining (with Sky Adventures) gave us the aerial perspective that made the whole Costa Rica landscape finally make sense. The view from above the rainforest canopy made everyone go quiet for exactly the right reason, and that kind of silence is rare when you are traveling with kids.
