Equipment looks great in a showroom, but the trench is where reputations are built.

For over two decades, we’ve been engineering electrofusion equipment designed specifically to take a beating in the real world. We don't just build boxes; we build the absolute workhorses that utility contractors rely on when the weather is brutal, deadlines are tight, and failure simply isn't an option. Seeing our gear out in the mud, getting the job done on sites across the globe, is exactly what drives our manufacturing team here in Cleckheaton.

Real sites. Real results. Over 20 years of Made in Britain brilliance

► What is the real cost of a generator dying mid-weld?

It isn’t just the downtime. It is the wasted fitting, the dreaded cut-out, the re-prep, and doing the exact same job twice. If a sputtering engine or an empty fuel tank costs your team just 5 fittings a month, you are throwing hundreds of pounds of materials and hours of labour straight in the bin.

The Efuze eliminates mid-weld power failures entirely. Its predictive software calculates the energy needed before you even begin—if it doesn’t have the battery life to finish the weld, it won’t let you start. This pre-emptive, pro-active approach to weld performance saves our clients roughly 55 fittings a year, which would otherwise be discarded and written off as needless expense.

► Clean, reliable power from start to finish.
► Save yourself time, hassle and money.

► Site power shouldn't dictate how you run your site.

The eFuze and FLEX inverter were engineered to give contractors complete freedom from the heavy, restrictive logistics of traditional generators. A combustion generator needs open air, distance and a tolerance for noise. In the time it takes a crew to unhitch, position, and fuel up, this entire off-grid setup can be walked across the site, deployed directly at the weld point, and have the first joint prepped and fusing.

This video highlights the core philosophy behind the battery-powered eFuze and the 6.4kg FLEX inverter: completely eliminating site setup time. There is no trailer to tow, no petrol to source, and no noise restrictions to navigate. You simply carry the unit to the trench, plug in, and start welding. It is a leaner, faster, and infinitely more adaptable way to approach groundworks.

► Stop dragging power to the site.
► Carry it with you.

► Couldn’t make it to Stoneleigh for No-Dig Live 2026? Here’s what you missed.

As you can see from Ash’s marathon of conversations on the stand, the industry is officially ready to cut the cord on petrol.

The reason for the constant crowd? The eFuze battery system and the ultra-lightweight FLEX inverter. While the rest of the industry was just talking about the future of site power, we were busy proving it.

We showed hundreds of operators how to instantly ditch heavy, noisy, petrol-guzzling generators without sacrificing a single drop of welding performance. With the eFuze and FLEX combo, you get pure, precise joint integrity with absolutely zero emissions, zero snapped pull-cords, and zero guesswork.

If you didn't get a chance to see the battery-powered duo in action on the stand, don't worry. We can bring the exhibition directly to your depot.

► It’s the final day of No-Dig Live 2026!

The energy on the stand over the last two days has been unmatched. After some fantastic conversations with leading utility companies and industry partners, one thing has become immediately clear: the sector is officially ready to cut the cord on petrol.

The sheer volume of interest in our battery-powered eFuze and FLEX inverter combination proves that the transition to cleaner, quieter, and smarter site power is happening right now. We've been showing operators exactly how this setup directly increases productivity, improves health and safety outcomes in the trench, and actively reduces their operational carbon footprint.

Kevin, Ashley, and our Group Sales Manager Jason Bartholomew are on the stand all day alongside our sister companies, ALH Systems Limited and Pipe Equipment Specialists.

If you are at Stoneleigh Park today, come by and see the future of utility fusion technology for yourself. If you can't make it before the doors close, the conversation doesn't end here.

► Let’s get a unit out to your depot.
► Book your site demonstration today.

If the people who train the industry love using your gear, you know you are doing something right.

We caught up with Clinton Miles and his team at Utility Training Limited to watch their EUSR-certified instructors put our electrofusion units to work. Whether it is brand-new trainees or seasoned site hands refreshing their skills, the feedback remains consistent: our equipment is intuitive, robust, and highly cost-efficient. Collaborating with forward-thinking training providers ensures the next generation of utility workers enters the field with the absolute best tools available.

High-quality utility training demands high-quality tools, and we offer the best of the best, backed by two decades of Made In Britain brilliance. As Clinton says, "It does what it says on the tin."

Trenchless technology is moving faster than ever, so why is your site power still dragging you down? It’s time to drop the dead weight and ditch the petrol generator for good.

At No-Dig Live 2026, Advance Welding is demonstrating exactly what happens when rugged British manufacturing meets uncompromising battery power. We're bringing our complete off-grid setup to Stoneleigh Park to prove that you don't need a heavy, noisy, fuel-hungry generator to run a highly efficient trenchless site. Come see how the eFuze and FLEX inverter combine to deliver zero-emission electrofusion and 110V site tools from a footprint you can carry in one hand.

Whether your priority is hitting strict Net Zero site targets, killing generator noise, or completely eliminating fuel costs, this duo provides the exact arsenal needed to keep your trenchless crews moving and your site fully powered.

Zero emissions. Zero fuel. Zero compromise. See you at NAEC Stoneleigh.

Why have a Transit van packed to the gills with everything under the sun when you can fit all your field-tested essentials right in the boot?

Heavy petrol generators and bulky traditional equipment tie your crews to large, fuel-hungry commercial vehicles. By switching to compact, battery-powered electrofusion technology like the eFuze, you completely change your fleet requirements. Downsizing to smaller vans drastically cuts your travel emissions, slashes fuel costs, and allows for rapid deployment in tight urban environments where parking is a nightmare.

Save fuel, save space, save time, and save your work crews from breaking their backs.

Did you know the person keeping our numbers perfectly balanced is also hitting all the right notes outside the office?

When she isn't driving financial strategy here at Advance Welding, Nina Carradice is a dedicated Second Soprano and Secretary for the acclaimed Marsh Ladies Choir. Instead of bringing in guest musicians, their next concert is showcasing the immense talent within their own ranks—and we couldn't be prouder to see Nina recognized in the press as one of their featured vocalists.

Precision in the boardroom, perfect harmony on the stage. Join us in wishing Nina and the rest of the choir a spectacular concert!

Going Net Zero doesn't have to mean sacrificing site efficiency. What if you could cut your on-site welding emissions by 98% just by switching your power source?

The battery-powered Efuze is specifically designed to reduce your carbon footprint across three major operational areas: travel, work, and materials. By ditching the traditional 100kg+ generators, crews can downsize to a smaller van, cutting travel CO2 emissions by 26%. On-site, swapping 143 litres of petrol for mains-charged battery power drops annual welding emissions from 344kg of CO2 down to just 8kg. Furthermore, improved precision reduces installation faults by 1.5%, saving an average of 55 fittings per year from being cut out and wasted.

Opting for the Efuze is a practical, strategic move toward achieving net zero. Send a strong message about your commitment to sustainability and lead the charge for a greener industry.
