Here are some recent night time visitors, a herd of roe deer and a single wild boar taken with my Browning trail camera. Whilst we regularly see deer in the daytime, it is very rare to see wild boar in the day but they leave the deeper forest at night in search for food. Solitary wild boars tend to be male.
Backing directly onto a forest gives you the chance to immerse yourself in forest life and be one with nature. Bird watching, forest-bathing, enjoying the bats at night & starry skies from the hot tub, it is truly a great environment where you can truly relax.
A holiday in nature offers numerous benefits; it allows you to feel more connected to the world, reduces stress, improves mental well-being providing a welcome escape from the stresses of daily life allowing you to recharge your mind and body.
More details of our dog friendly, forest cabin with hot tub, set in the Forest Of Dean within the Wye Valley, can be found in the link in the bio.
If you are seeking a forest retreat where you can destress in a relaxing environment with forest trails and river walks on the doorstep and places to eat within walking distance then look no further.
