It's the very special blend of magnificent trees, fabulous planting combinations, 360-degree mountain views, beautiful Georgian symmetry, and all the hidden details that make Our Plas truly unique! The individual garden rooms, each one completely different, have new plants popping up every day, and they are all a joy to discover! Truly magical!

Another crazy week here at . We have so many projects on the go! The week was finished off by a fabulously busy weekend away in London! I'm sharing just a few snaps...

It was so lovely to go away and even more lovely to come home to gardens full of roses! (Promise to share next week).

Feeling very lucky indeed and super inspired for what's coming next! Watch this space!

Is Little Plas premium or luxury? Not the words I would necessarily use... We have a high price point, but I think we are good value for money. The 5* reviews from 100% of our guests suggest they agree.
While hosting Little Plas, my yardstick has always been 'Would I want to stay here?'
It's a resounding 'YES' from me! I never want to leave, but then I have an 'optimistic consumer mindset'!

A few things you may not know about me...

1. I keep bees. Beekeeping is the closest thing I get to meditation
2. I have an enormous collection of clothes and shoes, but usually I'm in wellies
3. I am totally obsessed with food... Growing it, cooking it, and eating it
4. 100 years ago, I ran a marathon. I still run three times a week. It's non-negotiable
5. My perfect holiday is staying at home*

What inspired me to start my business?

Well... Starting my business has felt like an inevitable progression...
I started working in fashion design, moved into designing interiors, then outdoor spaces, and more recently, gardening for mental wellbeing. My business is a culmination of all my favourite things brought together in one place... Ourplas. In a nutshell, it is about reimagining a beautiful historic space as a living, breathing showcase that people can enjoy, feel inspired, and get involved with.
This really is the most beautiful place! My family and I are so lucky to be here, so the location is the inspiration and does most of the hard work for me! I just add a few extra touches and try to curate 'moments of intimate discovery and atmosphere'. I am now trying to make us more 'visible' on social media and hopefully welcoming more and more people to Ourplas! It is a lifetime's work... In progress!
