Tra’n ymchwilio i hanes Rhuddlan ar gyfer taith fe ddaethais ar draws erthygl yn y Rhyl Journal o fis Mawrth 1902. Cwest i farwolaeth twy foddi dwy ferch ifanc a’i athrawes cartref mewn llyn yn Rhuddlan. Megan ac Olwen Williams a Miss Mattie Garrett. Y tri wedi eu claddu ger Eglwys Santes Fair, Bodelwyddan, 120 o flynyddoedd yn ôl. Wedi darllen yr erthygl roedd hi’n bwysig i mi ddarganfod ble claddwyd y merched felly mi es i i’r eglwys i chwilio

Whilst researching the history of Rhuddlan for a tour, I came across an article in the Rhyl Journal from March 1902. It’s an inquest into the drowning of two young girls and their governess in a pond in Rhuddlan. Megan and Olwen Williams (pictured) and Miss Mattie Garrett. The three were buried by St Margaret’s Church, Bodelwyddan 120 years ago. After reading the article I felt moved to find the graves so off I went to explore the churchyard
