Forty years ago this month marked the start of my floristry journey, when I enrolled at the Welsh College of Horticulture in North Wales, September 1986, on the B/Tec Diploma in Floristry and Flower Production.
Graduating in 1989, I’ve worked in a few different florist shops over the years, qualified as a lecturer and taught at Derby College, Broomfield for 13 years and set up my own business focusing on wedding floristry.
And most importantly I made a lot of lovely friends in 1986 and we’re still in touch today ❤️

Today’s wedding flowers. Another couple of days of trying to keep the flowers cool in this heat 😱
The roses behaved themselves, it was the eucalyptus that was the problem, leaves drying up.
But happy with the finished designs, ivory flowers and foliage with natural dried flowers included.
