Edistone Farm have recently converted original animal housing into beautiful holiday cottages set in a stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within the Hartland Peninsula on the North Devon

Coast. The cottages stand in the grounds of Edistone Farm, a former dairy farm. The farmhouse itself is a beautiful sixteenth century building full of old fashioned charm, traditionally built from cob and stone, with a wealth of original features, history and even its own well! Edistone Farm is situated in the quiet and pleasant hamlet of Edistone, which is approximately two miles south of Hartland and two miles from the sea. Hartland village offers local shops, pubs and is a few minutes away from the picturesque Hartland Quay. Bideford and Bude are approximately only twenty five minutes away offering a wider range of facilities, including supermarkets. Accommodation Details

Walking
The South West Coast Path circling the Peninsula is ideal for walkers and ramblers wishing to explore the local countryside, stunning sea views and the many hidden coves that meet the Atlantic Ocean. Surfing
Bude is a 20 minute drive away which has a thriving surfing community, primarily due to the consistent beach break peaks. Whilst all of the local beaches are great for surfing, the most popular are Widemouth Bay (30min drive), Duck Pool (20min drive), Sandymouth (20min drive), Westward Ho! (20min drive) and Northcott beaches (30min drive). Sporting Activities
Coastal golf courses, horse-riding, cycling, walking, fishing and much more. Family Entertainment
For families looking to keep children entertained, there are the local attractions of the Big Sheep and Milky Way adventure parks that are a must see. What's nearby
Clovelly, one of the most picturesque fishing villages in North Devon is a 15 minute drive away. With its steep cobbled streets, pretty quay and frequent food, drink and music festivals is likely to be high on the agenda of anyone's things to do whilst in the area. Those looking for something different, can catch a ferry or helicopter over to nearby Lundy Island. Take a moment to view the stunning natural waterfalls that tumble onto the beaches at Spekes Mill and Welcombe.
