Bransgorebunnies Childminding

Bransgorebunnies Childminding Hello Mums and Dads,

My name is Marketa, and I am a childminder in Bransgore. I am OFSTED registered and fully insured with Public Liability insurance.

Bransgore Bunnies Childminding offers excellent and flexible childcare in loving homely setting which is tailored towards the needs of individual children and families. My family - me, my husband, our two children, two cats, and a hamster—live in a wonderful part of Bransgore, just a short walk from the local playground. Our home features a spacious garden, a playroom filled with toys for all ag

es, and a dedicated nap room. I work alongside a wonderful assistant, and we are both passionate about working with children. We strive to offer a warm, safe, and friendly environment where children can thrive. We love planning engaging activities and find it incredibly rewarding to see the children's joy. We regularly explore exciting places and enjoy outdoor adventures, ensuring each day brings something new. We also promote healthy eating habits and lifestyles, and we focus on preparing children for the next stages in their lives. Each week, we visit local country parks, museums, gardens, and farms, giving the children opportunities to discover new environments and learn new things. I have completed Childminding Training and Level 3 Common Core Skills Training, and I have a current paediatric First Aid certificate. I also regularly update my safeguarding knowledge through training sessions and webinars. My assistant holds a Level 3 Diploma in early years childcare, is first aid trained, and regularly attends safeguarding and other training sessions. Additionally, I offer early years funding for eligible children. Please feel free to contact me to learn more or to schedule a visit to meet me and see our setting.

Over the last few weeks, we've been making the most of the beautiful sunshine while making sure we stayed cool and safe in the hot weather! ☀️💦

We enjoyed lots of adventures to local streams, ponds and the beach, where the children had great fun exploring life under the water. At the streams in Brockenhurst, they carefully caught and observed small fish and tadpoles, while our trip to Keyhaven gave us the chance to discover crabs and shrimps along the shoreline.

Back at the setting, we cooled off with plenty of water play in the paddling pool and took part in a fun challenge to rescue creatures trapped inside giant blocks of ice – a huge hit with everyone! 🧊

We also visited a new play park in Burton-on-Sea and enjoyed several little wanderings around the New Forest, where we were delighted to spot lots of adorable baby foals. 🐴

Despite the wetter and colder weather recently, it certainly hasn’t stopped us getting out and about!☔🍂

We’ve enjoyed visits to a few different playgrounds, including our local park in Bransgore, where the children had lots of fun exploring and playing. We also had a wonderful day at Furzey Gardens admiring all the beautiful colours of the plants and flowers. The children especially loved the Monsters Exhibition and were so excited spotting all the different creations hidden around the gardens!

Another highlight was our trip to Wimborne Model Town where we felt like giants walking around the tiny houses and streets. The model railway was a huge hit — we spent ages happily watching the trains go by!

We also enjoyed a lovely nature walk around Two Riversmeet Leisure Complex and went tadpole hunting in Burley — such a simple activity but always so much fun and learning for the little ones. 🐸

What a wonderful week we’ve had with the little ones! ☀️

We made the most of the beautiful weather by starting our week at Brockenhurst stream, where there was lots of splashing and learning as we explored what floats and what sinks.

On Wednesday, we visited our favourite motor museum in Beaulieu and had a fantastic time exploring indoors – the children especially loved sitting in some of the vintage cars!

Thursday took us to Boscombe Beach for some fresh sea air and sandy fun, and we finished our active week on Friday at Alpine Park, where we burned off lots of energy.

In the afternoon, we got creative and turned a huge cardboard box into an amazing “Bransgore Bunnies Bus” – the children’s imagination was in full swing!

We’ve had a few wonderfully busy weeks here, making the most of the beautiful sunshine ☀️

We’ve spent lots of time outdoors, visiting different parks where the children could really burn off some energy, as well as enjoying lovely walks through forests and green spaces. Along the way, we discovered magical fairy doors and tiny hidden fairy houses, which sparked lots of imagination and excitement!

We also went to see the famous Bisterne Dragon and learned a little about its history.

One of our highlights was a fantastic day out at Beaulieu Motor Museum, where we enjoyed rides on an old bus and even the monorail — lots of smiles all around!

With the warmer weather over the past few days, we cooled off by the stream, spotting lots of little fish and even catching one — a very exciting moment!

Back at home, we’ve been having lots of fun in the garden with messy play — making jelly “ice creams,” creating dinosaur worlds, playing in the sand, and of course, plenty of water play 💦

What an absolutely wonderful two weeks of Easter fun we’ve had! 🐣🌸

We kicked things off with a lovely Easter egg hunt at Moors Valley, followed by a very exciting surprise when the Easter Bunny paid a visit to our garden! The children were thrilled to enjoy another little egg hunt right at home 🐰🥚

We also had a fantastic trip to Kingston Lacy, where we joined in with lots of Easter activities and games. With the beautiful warm and sunny weather, we couldn’t resist our first splash of the year by the Brockenhurst stream – so much fun we had there ! ☀️💦

Our days were filled with creativity too, making some wonderful Easter crafts, and we enjoyed a trip to Hengistbury Head, including a fun ride on the land train 🚂

The absolute highlight of our Easter break had to be watching our little ducklings grow! The children loved caring for them, watching them make a mess, and seeing them enjoy their first little splashes in the paddling pool 🐥💛

Today was sadly our last day with them, and it was time to say goodbye. They will be very much missed, but we feel so lucky to have shared such special moments together 💕

What a lovely (and busy!) week we’ve had with the children ❄️🦆

On Monday, despite the very grey weather, we wrapped up warm and headed to Littledown Park where we enjoyed feeding the ducks by the pond.

Wednesday was a very wet day so we stayed cosy indoors, exploring fake snow, getting stuck into some very messy play, and creating our own snowman crafts ⛄️

On Thursday, we burned off lots of energy with a walk around the Tree Tall Trail, and on Friday we finished our week with an exciting visit to the Tank Museum 🚜

The last two weeks with the little ones have been full of festive fun and excitement as it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! We visited some wonderful, Christmas look-a-like places including Furzey Gardens, Kingston Lacy, Stewarts Garden Centre and Moors Valley, soaking up all the magical sights.

Back at setting, we got creative making Christmas decorations and cards, and enjoyed baking (and tasting!) gingerbread cookies together. We also made sure to spend plenty of time outdoors, visiting parks and exploring nature to get some fresh air and burn off all that extra energy.

Such a lovely couple of weeks full of smiles, learning and festive cheer 🎅🎄
