Here at Across the Atlas we offer more of a āpersonal serviceā
Why? Because whether you are a first time cruiser, a regular cruiser or if you are looking to experience a new cruise line we would love to share our personal memories and experiences and hope our adventures inspire you to book your first cruise or book another with us knowing that we will listen and understand what you truly want from your future cruise.
Our first cruise was on the magnificent Caribbean Princess on the 13th November 2004.
Nick was 37 and Lisa was 33.
We had no idea about cruising but decided to book a fly cruise and justā¦ā¦. Go with it!
We flew from London to Miami, an overnight stay in a decent hotel and the next morning a coach transfer to Fort Lauderdale. All organised by Princess Cruises - effortless and stress free.
We embraced the 7 day cruise soaking up the sea days and exploring the wonderful islands of St. Thomas, St. Maarten and the private island of Princess Cays.
We had pre arranged to extend our flight home as we had booked a further 2 week holiday in Florida.
We are big fans of Princess Cruises who have 17 ships in their fleet and in our opinion have incredible intense itineraries that sail all around the world.
Let us tell you about this beautiful āGrand Classā ship
Caribbean Princess š¢
Launched in 2004 this beautiful 112,894 ton ship has a capacity of 3140 passengers and 1200 crew.
1569 staterooms including interconnecting cabins and wheelchair accessible cabins, all spread over 19 decks.
There are multiple dining rooms and options including the International Cafe, Crown Grill for premium steaks and fresh seafood (for an extra charge), Sabatiniās Italian Trattoria and the endless choices from the self service international buffet and not forgetting the pizzeria and 100% handmade gourmet burgers on the top deck and the complimentary ice cream cones.
The Caribbean Princess has a stunning theatre, grand casino, 5 pools (2 adult only) including a plunge pool for kids and 7 outdoor hot tubs.
It also offers āMovies under the Starsā and one of our happy memories is relaxing on a sunbed late at night under the stars with a cosy blanket and a cocktail watching several movies and just chilling out.
This laid back atmosphere ship caters for all various ages and types of cruisers.
The ship also has many self serve laundry rooms which are chargeable or a collection service.
Feel free to message any questions or get in touch if you fancy a Princess cruise!
