Droitwich GTR 1st summer tour to Bournemouth

We would like to thank our fantastic hosts Oakmeadians RFC O2 Touch for a making us feel most welcome on our 1st trip away from Worcestershire.

A very well run and friendly tournament followed by lunch and beer.

Sadly our rugby skills appeared non existent due to the previous afternoon and evenings alcoholic overindulgence. (Your traditional offering of shots of Port beforehand whilst most welcome, saw 3 of our players revisiting breakfast!)

We especially enjoyed our Saturday evening out with some of your squad, our lasting memory was Snowy’s most excellent dancing and stage diving expertise. Does she have a sponsorship deal with Red Bull?

Good luck in the future - We hope to see you all again.

Good Sunday session today, fast pace and much quicker dummy half pick ups. Well done all who played

Another fast paced session tonight from the girls and boys at GTR.
Notable points where. Slim Jim Callows return from Summer Fat Camp, Mark The New Zealander's rather annoying pace and skill linking up very well with Sam and Claire. Another missed session from George Davlar Davis (noted) and my particular favorite, My rather excellent flying dive narrowly missing the try line by a mere 10 feet. Bring on the England trials, bound to be selected.
