Another one of our favourite trips we did in New Zealand was with Dart River Adventures. They operate out of Glenorchy which is about a 45 minute drive from Queenstown. You really get into the wilds of Mount Aspiring National Park on this trip as well as getting all the thrills of a jet boat ride. They also have an option that includes a kayak tour in inflatable "funyaks". A fantastic day out, oh and the seat back handles you hold onto are heated!

One of the highlights of our New Zealand trip was our trip out with Dolphin Encounter Kaikoura It was an amazing experience and our only regret is not having an underwater camera! Their staff are very friendly and professional and what we really liked was there was only 12 swimmers on board the boat (I believe their maximum is 14). All gear is supplied and top notch and included warm wet suits. Safety for the participants and also the dolphins was paramount and you also got a good bit of time to watch the dolphins from the boat after getting warmed up.
Don't miss this if you are planning a trip to New Zealand! Kaikoura is a beautiful area and well worth a visit.
