Kraków with a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old… would we recommend it? Absolutely 🇵🇱✨

From an electric golf cart tour and exploring the Main Market Square, to Wawel Castle, chimney cake, ice cream and finishing the day at Smart Kids Planet — there was actually so much to do with little ones.

My biggest tip? Save their legs and do the golf cart tour first 🙌 And don’t forget to negotiate the price!

Also… Alice eating an entire chimney cake by herself was definitely one of the highlights 😂

✈️ Big changes are coming to EU airline passenger rights and they could make a real difference to your next trip.

From children under 14 sitting next to an accompanying adult without an extra seat selection fee, to return flights staying valid if you miss the outbound, the new rules are designed to give passengers clearer and stronger protection.

💶 Flight compensation remains at €250 / €400 / €600, depending on distance and eligibility.

⏰ Long delay? The rules become much clearer around meals, refreshments, internet access, hotel accommodation and transport.

🧳 And when it comes to hand luggage, the EU has not made every cabin bag free. Instead, airlines will have to be clearer about bag size, weight and what is actually included in your fare.

🇬🇧 And yes, UK travellers can still be protected by EU passenger rights rules, depending on where the flight departs and which airline operates it.

📌 The new rules are expected to start applying during 2027, with the exact date depending on publication of the final Regulation.

Planning a Disneyland Paris road trip? 🚗✨ If you’ve got time before your ferry or Eurotunnel shuttle—or simply want to break up the journey-don’t skip Calais!

Most people see it as just a port town, but it’s actually a brilliant place for families. Think beautiful beaches, an amazing seafront playground, and one of the most unique attractions in France… a giant dragon you can ride! 🐉

The Dragon of Calais is inspired by local legend and is a must-do if you’re passing through.

A few things to know before you go:
✨ The main Dragon usually operates Tuesday–Sunday.
✨ Mondays are maintenance days, but Le Varan de Voyage still runs.
✨ Calais is also home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so there’s even more to explore if you have extra time.

If you’re driving to or from Disneyland Paris, this is the perfect stop to let the kids burn off some energy before the next part of the journey.

✅ Good to know:
• You must spend at least €100.01 in total across eligible purchases (it doesn’t have to be in one transaction or one store).
• Only physical goods you’re taking home are eligible.
