We’re looking for a Student Theatre Coordinator and Student Music Coordinator to join our team for 2025-26

This is an exciting one-year opportunity for two final year students or recent graduates of Durham University. The post holders will work within the Student Enrichment Directorate to facilitate student music and theatre groups across all genres, at both pan-university and college level.

Working closely with colleagues and student leaders, the post-holders will assist in the development of a thriving musical and theatrical community at Durham, enhancing its profile to internal and external stakeholders whilst increasing participation and excellence across all levels.

Deadline for application: Monday 21st April 23:59

And with one last performance of The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole by Ooook Productions, it's all over.

120 Performing Arts events over 10 weeks of Term, be that concerts, tours, plays, improv shows, musicals, scratch nights, gigs, outreach events and much, much more, all put together by hundreds of incredibly talented young musicians and theatre-makers.

Well done to everyone who has taken part, and thank you so much to everyone who has come along to watch.

Just a few tickets left for Durham University Palatinate Orchestra's hotly anticipated performance of Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto in Durham Cathedral tomorrow night!

After their sold-out performance of Rachmaninoff’s Second Symphony in 2024, the 85-piece Palatinate Orchestra returns for its annual Durham Cathedral concert with the composer’s resplendent Third Piano Concerto.

Seen by many as the pinnacle of Rachmaninoff's career as a composer, the concerto is known for its high romance, soaring melodies and complexity, and has a reputation as one of the most technically challenging piano concertos in the standard classical repertoire.
