On the left is Moubray House, the oldest "hoose" on the Royal Mile. In the middle, it's John Knox's house. He was a man we perhaps don't remember as the best guy to have a party with......

Leith Gin if you need any help handing out your hand sanitizer, we have a Police box on the West End of Princes St which is sitting empty and could be used as a central distribution point. Keep up the great work!

A quiet cold windy morning the other week at Neist Point on the Isle of Skye.

Neist Point Lighthouse, designed by David Alan Stevenson, was first lit on November 1st 1909.

Since 1990, the lighthouse has been operated remotely from the Northern Lighthouse Board headquarters in Edinburgh.

When Robert the Bruce died, his heart was taken on a crusade against the Moors in Spain. It was flung against the enemy in a battle, which saw most Scots die. Bruce's heart, however, somehow made it back to Scotland and is buried here in Melrose. He was Scotland's true and authentic "Braveheart" until Mel Gibson stole the name for himself when he played William Wallace!
