Some holidays stay with you in a way others don’t. It’s never just because they were popular or trending — it’s because they were perfect FOR YOU. The pace, the atmosphere, the experiences… all lining up with what you actually wanted from your time away.

That’s the part I love most about my job. I don’t recommend places because they’re on a “top 10” list — I recommend them because they fit you. I spend time getting to know what you enjoy, what you don’t, the kind of memories you want to come home with, and the budget you’re comfortable with. That’s how people end up discovering destinations they’d never have thought of, or having the kind of holiday they talk about for years.

Some of my favourite trips to plan are the ones where a client says, “I’d never have picked this myself… but it was perfect.” Those moments come from looking beyond the obvious and using my experience to match people with holidays that genuinely suit them.

You haven’t left it too late. There’s still time for one more escape this summer, and last‑minute doesn’t have to mean limited choice or settling for whatever’s left. If you think all cruises are the same, think again.

It’s the little details that can completely change a holiday. Most people focus on where they’re staying, but I’m always thinking about how they’ll experience it. Because the right holiday isn’t just about the destination — it’s about the small choices that shape how the whole trip feels.

A well‑timed flight can give you an extra day away. A private transfer can make travelling feel effortless instead of stressful. The right room can completely change your stay, especially if you value space, views, or just want to enjoy your evenings after the kids have gone to bed, rather than sitting in a dark hotel room in silence!
I believe that spending a little more in the right place creates far better value than upgrading absolutely everything. And it’s often those details that my clients remember most.

This is the part of travel planning I love: helping clients make smarter choices, not just more expensive ones. I recommend upgrades that genuinely improve the holiday, explain what’s worth spending more on and what isn’t, and use first‑hand knowledge and supplier relationships to personalise each trip beyond what you’ll find in a brochure.
