Lovely walk through the woods today!Stunning views of the Menai Strait and Plas Newydd. The Britannia Bridge looked impressive. Spotted a young red squirrel too!

A little trip to Rhosneigr is always a good idea
Wide sandy beaches, fresh sea air, and that laid back seaside vibe that makes you instantly slow down.
And while you’re there, Sandy Mount House is the perfect spot to unwind — great food, a lovely atmosphere, and a cosy place to relax after a wander along the shore.

Half term adventures don’t get much better than Melin Llynon !
From learning about Wales’ last working windmill to tucking into those famous handmade doughnuts, it’s the perfect mix of fun and flavour for all ages.
Little ones will love the model safari with its life size animals, and grown ups get to enjoy a wander, a coffee, and a treat (or two). It’s a brilliant way to spend a day on Anglesey — learning, exploring, and enjoying something delicious along the way.

There is sunset watching, and then there is watching the sun dip below the horizon at Ynys Llanddwyn. Only 10 minutes away from us it’s literally on our doorstep.
We made the trek through Newborough Forest down to the beach just in time to catch the golden light hitting the old pilot cottages and Tŵr Mawr. Walking along the dunes with the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountains framing the distance is an absolute must-do if you are visiting North Wales.

Check the tide times before you go so you don't get stranded on the island!

Bank Holiday weekends on Anglesey are made for simple pleasures — long beach walks, good food, and a cheeky ice cream or two. From coastal cafés to little local gems, the island is full of places to discover.
And if you’re looking for a real treat, Aberffraw is the place to go — a wide, sandy beach perfect for a peaceful wander, and a lovely café nearby for something tasty afterwards. A proper Anglesey day out.
