Lovely morning for our Mile by Mile walk and lots of delicious snacks along the way (blackberries & raspberries!) 😁

Reminder that our Mile by Mile walk on Meigle Hill tomorrow starts at ** Victoria Park ** not the Hub.

This walk starts with a steep incline and a steep decline follows.

- please bring plenty of water & snacks to keep you going
- we will be walking through fields with sheep, if you are bringing a dog they must be kept on lead
- please wear sturdy shoes as ground is uneven and rocky in places

A busy day for the Hub team today with bike repairs, bike hires to a German family visiting the area, and assistance to a team cycling across the Borders with a puncture repair. Also two volunteers completed minibus driver assessments. Tom, official Hub "dug" still managed to help out with some litter picking duties in Victoria Park (lots of shredded cans and plastic - but the worst to pick up was a bagged 💩 in the middle of the grass 😡)

Saturday September 6th
Hog Hill > Buckholm Tower

Starting in Galashiels town centre this strenuous walk climbs towards Hog Hill and Neidpath Hill, crossing to Meigle Hill before following the “green road” path to Clovenfords. This route then meanders through the Torwoodlee Estate and crosses the A7 towards the historic Buckholm tower before returning to the town centre.
