Are you a Park Run tourist? It’s Saturday and there are Park Runs taking place all over the UK, in fact all over the world. Are you a Park Run runner?
Our nearest is at the beautiful Levengrove Park in Dumbarton which is alongside the River Clyde with fine views of Dumbarton Castle. The local organisers say there are plenty of visitors throughout the Summer who want to join the local runners and walkers on their 5km route. Clearly everyone is welcome and there’s such a lovely atmosphere.

East Cambusmoon and Loch Lomond work their magic for family holidays, adventures big and small, there really is plenty to see and do for everyone. Is Conic Hill worth climbing?
Always!
⛵️The views of Loch Lomond are wonderful.
😎There’s places to rest and admire the scenery.
🚶🏼‍♂️‍➡️You can choose to walk from Drymen or Balmaha.
You can go up and down the same way or take a linear route and get 🚞the bus back to your start point.
It’s very good exercise!

Hello from the East Cambusmoon honey bee hives on World Bee Day.
Aside from these colonies we have plenty of other bees and insects enjoying the diverse range of plants and flowers in the garden. This glorious weather positively encourages us all to stop and observe the small things in our world.
Steve has split one of the honey bee colonies to help prevent a swarm occurring. It’s certainly, currently, looking like a great year for honey production but we generally don’t take any surplus from the hives until close to Autumn.

It’s bluebell season up The Dumpling. The scent as you stroll up the hill is gorgeous and the view is, as always, just wonderful.
It’s the perfect stroll from the cottages.
