First check out at our 2 bed in Chapelhall today.. and the review is in!!
5 stars all round 🙌🙌 Always nice to see, but it’s not down to luck.
When we set up a new property, we make sure we cover all bases!
Last thing you want is to drop stars because you forgot to buy a pizza cutter, or you used cheap towels or toiletries!!
The little things can make a big difference.
Communication is also key!! Contact with guests before (ensuring they have all the info they need for a smooth check in), during (to check that everything is to their liking, and resolving any small issues they might have before they become big issues), and after (wishing them a safe onward journey and ensuring everything went well with the stay) all reassure the guest that you care about them and the experience they are having.
All of these touch points with guests help to keep your ratings high. Many hosts try to minimise contact with guests as they see it as giving them the opportunity to complain about something!! We work differently. If something isn’t right, we want to know straight away so that we can resolve it.
These are some of the ways we keep our overall rating on Airbnb around its current score of 4.87 out of 5 stars… it’s hard work, but so much easier than mopping up the mess of not doing things properly!!
