A lovely morning spent outside for the pretoddlers! We all said hi to the ducks and cows before spotting lorries and tractors! Then we sat down to read stories and sing songs in the fresh air 🍂🐄🦆

Reading at home with young children is one of the most impactful ways to nurture their early development. When parents and carers share books together, it sparks a lifelong love of stories and books, turning reading into a source of comfort and joy.
Reading together helps to develop vital language and listening skills, as children hear new words, learn the rhythms of speech, and practice focusing on a narrative.
Ultimately, these cosy moments spent reading together build a strong foundation for communication and literacy that benefits children for the rest of their lives.

Preschool children will be given a book bag and reading record to take home to enjoy 😀

We’ve had a wonderful start to September, welcoming a number of new babies and families to Wellybobs . 🥰

It’s been lovely watching the children settle into their new surroundings so well. We know that leaving your precious little one for the first time can feel like a really big step, and that’s why our professional and caring team are always on hand to provide plenty of cuddles, comfort and reassurance whenever they’re needed. ❤️

We also keep parents updated throughout the day using our Ovivio app, so you can see how your little one is getting on and feel reassured while you’re apart. We take lots of photos and bake more than Jaimie Oliver !!!! 😊

As parents ourselves, with our own three children, we completely understand those feelings of anxiety when leaving your baby. Sometimes, those regular updates throughout the day are just what you need to make things that little bit easier. 🥰 We didn’t have this 20 years ago !!

And remember, our lovely and supportive team are always available for a friendly chat — whether that’s over the phone, at drop-off or when you collect your little one.

This term Preschool are focusing on "it's good to be me!" This week we have looking closely at Emotions.
We have created an Emotions corner, threading emotion faces, mark making in foam using emotion stones and reading our core story "have you filled a bucket today?"

It’s not too late . If you have played before and would like to get back into the beautiful game. Or indeed would like a new challenge, pop down and see Nick at training,really good sessions. Relaxed lots of banter and fun,all ball work sessions.
It’s a really great way to meet new people and share the love of the game

If anyone is interested Richard and Dylan attended tonight and came away feeling a lot of enjoyment in the session . Nick a previous client of Wellybobs for many years (his son now 13) is an excellent motivational coach( that Richard needs 😂)

We welcome new players any standard who fancies a bit of fitness, or indeed playing and committing to Saturday afternoons or Sunday mornings.

We are very lucky we get to see so much nature right outside our nursery. The babies have loved our walk seeing the cows and ducks.

How lovely 🥰 we have spent our bank holiday Monday morning reading through some lovely messages and thanks from our departing Pre-School children and families.

Unfortunately we have so many cards with lovely messages in , I have selected a small few.

Our team of loving hardworking team members have created an environment only an OUTSTANDING child care setting can provide. The very best care and attention through out your little ones nursery journey.

A huge good luck to all of our leavers ,who will be attending various schools in East Yorkshire ,North Yorkshire. I’m sure you’ll do us ,and your parents proud. 🥲
