Counting down the moments to wander through cobbled streets, cross the iconic Roman bridge, soak up that golden Algarve sunshine (it is back! ☀️) and experience the beautiful

Tavira is said to be one of Portugal’s most charming towns; think whitewashed houses, tiled façades (love a tile!), hidden courtyards and views stretching all the way to the Atlantic. A place where history and laid-back coastal vibes meet.

We will be staying at the latest opening in town, 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐚, a boutique gem tucked right into the heart of town. A former palace that blends traditional Portuguese architecture with modern comfort, a serene courtyard, elegant rooms, and that peaceful atmosphere you only find in southern Portugal.

A little family escape to experience ✨

We stayed in Tern, one of the dreamy Grand Estuary Suites, with a living room area that was perfect for a rollaway bed for the little one and a tv for morning cartoons, with a hot chocolate delivered in the morning tray.

Outside, our own outdoor space complete with a fire pit and the most indulgent soak tub, pure bliss after long countryside walks.

Devon hits differently in the winter, but the moody weather didn’t stop us from enjoying a bucolic walk on Exmouth beach, a walk around the vineyards, wandering the grounds with our toddler and dog 🐾

In the evening, an unforgettable fine dining experience, staying with canapés and cocktails (although I went for Lympstone Manor Classic Cuvée NV grown on their vineyards 🥂).

A luxurious experience that felt warm, welcoming and perfect, if anything, too short.

This hotel is perfect for the sybarites, the foodies, the nature lovers, couples and families (those Shepherds Huts are so gorgeous and come with many little perks).

The perfect weekend escape for UK travellers and a MUST for international travellers!!

Proud to share that Lympstone Manor has officially joined the ELS Luxury Representation family.

I couldn’t be happier, as it is a hotel I have followed closely over the years, being inspired by his owner Michelin Star Chef Michael Caines MBE.

Autumn at Relais de Chambord 🍂✨

As summer softens and the first leaves begin to turn, Chambord takes on a golden glow, and enters a new season with new experiences.

Every autumn, the Domaine de Chambord becomes the setting for a rare natural spectacle: the bellowing of the stags. In the silence of the forest, the powerful call of the males echoes, symbolising the mating season.

Upon your return to the hotel, it is time savour an autumn menu at Le Grand Saint-Michel, where Chef M*F Joseph Viola honours the season’s finest produce.

Then ride around the state in one of the bikes, take a picnic, visit the Château or stroll around the magnificent grounds… just to end with a peaceful sleep in one of the 55 rooms.

Glamour and haute-cuisine at the beautiful Torralbenc in Menorca ✨

A traditional Menorcan farm reborn as a luxury hotel and cellar, respecting the rich heritage and archaeology of the area. A collection of white-washed farm buildings dating from the 19th and early 20th century, used in the past for farming tasks and that have been carefully restored to recover the essence of the architecture and the natural environment that surrounds it.
