The Latest from PayPal.
My appeal has been rejected. The situation is that although the goods at the time of their decision hadn't been returned to me, I had incurred actual expenses, had agreed with the buyer that shipping and other expenses would be paid by him as it was him that wished to cancel the order after it was despatched, I am the one at fault! Lesson- don't use PayPal! Further there is appears to be no way to add further information to the dispute as the case is now closed, PayPal - Judge & Jury. By the way the 'buyer had agreed to pay all my expenses but I'm supposed to refund the entire amount. How can you do business this way?
Here my last parting short to them:-
I still have additional information that I could supply to you and although you have indicated reasons for your decision I have no way of communicating to you as you have closed the case. As I'm completely faultless in this 'transaction' as things stand I'm the one out of pocket. Your dispute resolution system is deeply flawed and until you provide me with a way to communicate with you the outstanding balance / my suggested resolution will remain unpaid. How you can come to the decision you have on the evidence I have provided is a complete mystery and hiding behind your terms and conditions does nothing to improve this situation. As this stands I shall be posting details of this matter on social media, I hope you will benefit from the publicity.
I don't suppose they will give a dam....
One compensation the goods have now been returned to me, it has taken DPD 7 days to deliver them back to me and I don't know how many emails and telephone calls. This is another company I will not be using again.
Just imagine how much out of pocket I would have been if the goods had gone missing!
