I am a Blue Badge Tourist Guide, and recently qualified with the Institute of Tourist Guiding in London. My areas of expertise include prehistory, medieval history, churches and cathedrals, castles, and gardens, in the following areas;

The K5054 Spitfire was the prototype, first flown by Joe 'Mutt' Summers on 5th March 1936 at Southampton Airport.
The Spitfire was designed and developed by R.J Mitchell at the Supermarine factory in Woolston.
We attribute the victory at the Battle of Britain in 1940, fought over the southern skies of England to the Spitfire and Hurricane.

Only Fools & Horses Musical is the best musical that I have ever seen.

Paul Whitehouse and Jim Sullivan have written this masterpiece and have included many famous comedic scenes from the TV series.

Tom Bennett played Del Boy brilliantly with all the French phrases and mannerisms.

Paul Whitehouse played Grandad at the beginning and Uncle Albert at the end. He is a class act.

Vinnie Jones played Danny Driscoll, the local mafia boss, and was very convincing.

The musical is now on tour around the UK.
The next stop is Ipswich, then Norwich.

Battersea Power Station is a decommissioned coal-fired power station located on the south bank of the Thames river.
It has been converted to a shopping mall with apartments above that enjoy a panoramic view over London. An apartment here will set you back at least 7 figures.

The building was originally designed by Giles Gilbert Scott and built by Leonard Pearce. It is one of the world's largest brick buildings and notable for its original Art Deco interior fittings and decor.

Pulteney Bridge is a landmark in Georgian Bath. There is a cafe on the bridge, where you can have tea and cake while enjoying the view over the river Avon.

Bath is full of 18th-century Georgian buildings, including Queens Square, Kings Circus, and the Royal Crescent, all designed by John Wood and son.

Jane Austen, the famous author, lived with her family in Bath in the early 1800s. 2025 is the 250th anniversary of her life.

This is All Saints' Church in Fawley. It is a Norman church, dating from the 12th century.

One person buried here is Flight Lieutenant Samuel Kinkead. He was an Ace Fighter Pilot during WWI. He was one of the RAF pilots who competed in the Schneider Trophy. He died in an accident while trying to break the speed record in the Supermarine S5 flying boat in 1928.
