Fancy a little waterfall adventure? 🌿 Here are some of my picks within easy reach of Harrogate — with a little 👶 rating so you know which ones are toddler-friendly!

💦 West Burton Falls – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Easy to get to and perfect for little legs.

💦 Linton Falls – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Easy to see and great to combine with a wander around Grassington.

💦 Harmby Waterfall – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Short walk but uneven in places — carrier recommended.

💦 Aysgarth Falls – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Stunning, but some paths are steep/uneven.

💦 Janet’s Foss – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Magical woodland walk, but definitely a carrier rather than buggy.

💦 Stainforth Force – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Beautiful but rocky, so keep little ones close.

💦 Hardraw Force – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Not a huge walk, but uneven ground in places.

💦 Ingleton Waterfalls Trail – ⭐⭐
Gorgeous but a proper hike with lots of steps — better for older kids or carriers.

⭐ Best for toddlers:West Burton Falls

🏔️ Best big waterfall: Aysgarth Falls
🥾 Best for older kids: Ingleton

⚠️ Always take care around waterfalls — rocks can be slippery and water levels can rise quickly after rain.

I’ve been to Monk Park Farm plenty of times with Noah, but I’d never thought of it as a night out — until I was invited to their adult-only evening!

So this is the start of my Mum’s Night Out series 💃🏼

Because yes, I spend a LOT of time finding things to do with the kids… but what about things for us?!

I’ll be trying out nights out, restaurants, events and different things to do around Harrogate — basically finding out where we can go when the kids aren’t invited 😂

And this one was such a fun first one!

POV: you came for the birds of prey and stayed for the ridiculously gorgeous nature 🦅🌿

Where ?? 📍 Thorp Perrow Arboretum, Bedale
perrow.arboretum is one of those places that feels like a proper escape — beautiful woodland, incredible birds of prey, the Mammal Centre and a little play park for the kids. 🦊🌳

It’s the kind of day out where the kids can explore, spot animals and burn off some energy, while you get to enjoy the gorgeous Yorkshire countryside. 🥹🌿
