I am super excited to share with you my new business Jo’s Rockin All Over The World Independent Travel Agency. For me the holiday starts with me getting excited about researching all the possible destinations and places to visit once we get there. I love shopping around for deals, investigating the destinations and ways to get there, doing comparisons and organising all the little extras that make that well-earned holiday a little bit more special. I know that this makes me a bit of an oddity as so many people tell me how they dread all the time and effort that goes into making those decisions. Last year a seed was planted in my brain when someone asked what I was going to be doing with myself when my Grandson Harry starts school in September. I jokingly said. “Book more holidays!!” and they said, “So why not train and start getting paid for something you do for pleasure??” It got me thinking and here I am – 7 exams later ABTA/ATOL qualified and 100% financially protected - ready to help you 😊. “Isn’t it a bit late to start something new?”
Maybe.
But I started anyway. 😉
And at 59/60, I can honestly say LOOK WHAT HAS HAPPENED! ❤️
I didn't start this because I was young, had loads of spare time, or had my life completely figured out.
Quite the opposite.
I was at a stage of life where I was thinking
☆What do I actually want the next chapter of my life to look like?
I'd retired early from the NHS duevto a disease in my spine.
☆I love to travel.
☆I wanted to travel MORE. 🌍
☆I wanted something that was mine.
And
☆ I wanted another income stream that could grow alongside me.
So I took a chance.
And that little decision has taken me further than I ever imagined. 🥹
✨ I've travelled.
✨ I've saved money on my own holidays.
✨ I've helped other people make their travel dreams happen.
✨ I've built an incredible community.
✨ I've built a team.
✨ I've gained confidence.
✨ I've achieved things I genuinely never thought I'd achieve.
And I'm STILL building.
At an age when society can sometimes make you feel like you're supposed to be slowing down.
I'm just getting started. 🔥
My 3 BIG reasons?
1️⃣ TRAVEL 🌍
I want to see more of the world, experience more, and create memories with the people I love.
2️⃣ FREEDOM 💰✈️
I want more choices with my money and my time, especially as I move towards retirement.
