🐙 We've moved the beetle to a new workshop so we can make some progress. We've made a couple frames to roll the shell and floorpan around on wheels, and started rebuilding the floorpan. Rear arms are back together with new bearings and bushings and we have a few more suspension, brake, and gear linkage parts to fit before we gather the next order together.

🐙 We re-started the beetle resto back when we were furloughed, and since then have moved from devon to somerset and back down to cornwall, and not touched it since.
🐙 Becky found some local storage where we can start working on it again so we rented a trailer, sifted through all the bags and boxes of parts only keeping what was necessary and moved the whole project down to cornwall.
🐙Fingers crossed we can actually dedicate some time this summer to getting it back on the road 🤞.

🐙 After many years of having the frame built with makeshift foam and a blanket on top we finally attempted the upholstery.
🐙 Bit of a learning curve with plenty of swearing as part of the process, but we're pretty happy with the end result.
🐙 Feeling confident to attack the main sofa now. Just need to work out if replacing the wood frame sofa with aluminium is worth it when we weight check it in a couple weeks during the floor replacement.
