Tomorrow, our luxurious Portsmouth Harbour Statesman heads south for a fantastic day beside the sea in one of Britain's most historic naval cities! 🚂⚓

Joining us from Chesterfield, Belper, Derby, Long Eaton, East Midlands Parkway, Loughborough, Leicester, Kettering, Wellingborough and Bedford, you'll travel in comfort aboard The Statesman directly to Portsmouth Harbour.

The forecast is looking ideal for a day by the coast, with plenty of sunshine expected and temperatures reaching around 29°C, so don't forget your sunglasses, sun cream and perhaps a hat if you're planning to spend time exploring the waterfront! ☀️😎

Once there, you'll be perfectly placed to visit the world-famous Historic Dockyard, home to HMS Victory, HMS Warrior and the remarkable Mary Rose, Henry VIII's flagship which spent over 400 years beneath the Solent before being raised and preserved for future generations.

Why not take a harbour cruise, enjoy the shops and restaurants at Gunwharf Quays, or take in the spectacular views from the iconic Spinnaker Tower?

Tomorrow we welcome passengers aboard the 'Dorset Coast Statesman' as we head for the beautiful South Coast, with the choice of spending the day in Bournemouth, Poole or Weymouth.

The train will depart from Stafford before calling at Rugeley Trent Valley, Lichfield Trent Valley, Tamworth, Nuneaton, Rugby, Long Buckby, Northampton, Milton Keynes Central and Leighton Buzzard to pick up passengers for the journey south.

Travelling through the stunning scenery of the New Forest before reaching Dorset, passengers can look forward to a relaxing day by the sea, whether enjoying Bournemouth's famous beaches, exploring Poole's historic quay and harbour, or taking in the traditional seaside atmosphere of Weymouth.

We look forward to welcoming everyone on board and wish all our passengers an enjoyable day out with us.

Tomorrow, we're heading to Cornwall aboard The Cornish Riviera & Mazey Day Statesman! 🌊☀️

From rugged coastlines and picturesque fishing villages to some of Britain's most beautiful scenery, this is always a memorable day out. Passengers can choose to spend their day exploring Truro & Falmouth, St Ives, or Penzance – each offering something unique, from historic streets and stunning harbours to sandy beaches and the lively Mazey Day celebrations.

🚂 Tomorrow, The Statesman heads to Royal Windsor for a day out in one of England's most historic and picturesque destinations.

Passengers will have the opportunity to explore the magnificent Windsor Castle, enjoy riverside walks along the Thames, visit the charming town centre, or take a stroll across the bridge to historic Eton and its famous college.

With around three hours to spend in Windsor before returning home in the afternoon, it promises to be another enjoyable day on the railway.
