🚆 Today's Journey: The Statesman Heads South 🌊

This morning, our celebrated ‘Statesman’ land cruise train departed on a scenic adventure through the heart of England to the south coast. Guests aboard are currently en route to a trio of coastal gems, with a day of exploration ahead.

The train will first arrive in Bournemouth, where travellers will enjoy around four hours to stroll the elegant seaside town, relax on seven miles of golden sands, browse the shops, and wander through its award-winning gardens.

Next, we’ll reach Poole, offering a three-hour break by the bustling Quay and stunning natural harbour. Guests may opt for a boat trip to Brownsea Island, rich in wildlife and history, or take a Jurassic coastal cruise. Local seafood eateries along the waterfront await.

Our final stop will be the ancient seaside town of Weymouth, once a favourite of King George III. With its Georgian seafront, quaint side streets, and over three miles of level promenade, it promises a charming end to the day. The picturesque harbour is home to fishing boats, yachts, and catamarans.
