The park also includes a Nisa shop, takeaway food outlet, launderette, restaurant , mini gym and a play park. A short walk from the resort you will find The Barley Mow public house/restaurant , Newtown House pub and a small shopping area nearby which includes a Tesco Express. The holiday park is a 15 minute walk from the beach , or if you prefer to drive there are plenty of car parks. At the beach you will find the Funlands funfair and amusements. Hayling Billy train that runs along the beach front. Some lovely pubs that serve great food. On a Wednesday morning there is a very popular car boot sale , close to the funfair. The historical city of Portsmouth is a 20 minute drive away. Here you will find the Historical dock yard, home to HMS Victory, the Mary Rose, HMS Warrior and the new Royal Marines Museum. You can even take a ferry across the water to Gosport to visit the Royal Navy Submarine Museum where the only surviving world war II submarine is situated. Gunwharfe Quays is close to the dock yard. A must if you like good restaurants, cocktail bars and designer outlets. Or take a trip up the Spinnaker tower for spectacular views. Other great attractions & towns include:
