1930s cottage in the town of Kington, Herefordshire, which is close to the Welsh border - a very beautiful and inspiring place to be creative. For many years we have made gifts for friends and family, and many things to furnish and display in our home. But the ideas and inspiration keep coming, so Crafty Joe's has become a business where you can find a wide range of arts and crafts.

Another new addition to the ever expanding keyring/ bag charm animal collection…I seem to be on a roll at the moment !
These little penguins are something I have wanted to try for a while, but I didn’t like any of the patterns until I came across this one.
These are the first two, now available from my shelf in Collaborative Crafts,
I may not be posting for a while now, as I am making octopuses, penguins and a huge blanket and trying to get a few seeds planted, as well as all the usual household stuff…so pretty exhausted.
Hopefully there will be a wider range of colours on my shelf in the next few weeks. 🐧🐧🐧

Introducing my latest addition to the keyring/bag charm animal collection…mini octopuses, there is something very endearing about these strange & fascinating creatures.
I was very happy to read that the correct plural for octopus is octopuses, as octopi just didn’t sound right ! Although I would like to have added another’s’ in the middle !
The first two are now available in Collaborative Crafts, with more colours on the way. I am just awaiting some new safety eyes before the next batch will be following them in to my shelf.🐙🐙🐙

Lots more colours of the Eco Wash Cloths now back in stock at Collaborative Crafts, these are 100% cotton, strong and durable, can be machine washed as often as you like or given a short soak in weak sterilising liquid solution.
Once finished they can also be composted.

Six new little stripey cats coming to Collaborative Crafts tomorrow.
I have decided to re-name these “ little animal friends” instead of “bag charms” unless anyone can come up with a better name !
They have a strong swivel clasp and are perfect for keyrings, rucksacks, handbags, school bags etc.
They will be joining the owls,tortoises, sheep & mice already in the shop.
And chickens & hedgehogs which I forgot !
