😄 1 year Ago today I started a brand new adventure !!!

I made the hardest decision of my life, leaving a career,a company, a team I loved 🩵 after 28 years.

Why ? Because I wonted a work life balance, I wonted to create a balance between working in an industry I love and to spend time with my family and friends - I did it !

I can not believe how scared I was to take this leap of faith but with the support of Dave, the kids and my friends I am now so happy and grateful to you all.

Yes I work incredibly hard,I work long hours at times and I can’t say no but I love my job, my life and my customers 🩵

I feel so incredibly lucky to have experienced 8 new cruise ships, I have visited over 20 new hotels , created memories with new colleagues on training days and educationals, I have experienced new destinations such as Mauritius, Malta, Miami, Bahamas, to name a few and have increased my knowledge to share with you 🥂

My customers are everything to me and I care about each and everyone

I love being part of their journey, their adventure, their dreams

❤️ 1 year ago today my world suddenly fell apart,my heart broke into a thousand pieces and yet I was embarking on my biggest challenge yet ! Starting my own travel business

Loosing my beloved Levi on this day was devastating, taken to young and to soon from us

But within 48 hrs of her leaving me she gave me Strength to open my laptop, be brave and embrace this adventure

1 year on and I couldn’t be happier I have a new crazy puppy, a successful business and a fabulous loyal lovely clientele who I love

Today I will be remembering my adorable Levi 💕💞💕

This weekend I certainly made the time to be outside as much as I possible could and enjoy that beautiful sunshine.

What a crazy 48 hrs ..

The travel industry is always interesting , no day is the same and within the last 48 hrs I have had my fair share of challenges

🙋🏻‍♀️ Flight cancellations
✈️ Airport closures
🥂 A beautiful wedding couple having to endure a delay in there flights by 24 hrs so a reschedule
✈️ Connecting flights not connecting
🧳 lost luggage
🚝 Train strike
💨 Cyclone crossing the Indian Ocean

🫨🤭🫠🫣😬😄

But I am proud and pleased to say

🤗 All of my customers are booked on to new flights, trains and into overnight hotels, the luggage is on route home, the wedding couple will be all ready for their big day next week,

Being at the end of the phone for my customers has put my customers at ease, I have worked hard with my duty office to resolve all of these challenges.

Challenges are like mountains 🏔️ they come in all shapes and sizes but once you have climbed them it is the best feeling 👍
