Its great to see the Shuttle Bus up and running again this year. This service really helps the congestion in the vally as well as the environment 🙏 Please consider using this when heading into Wasdale.

Planning a fell walk near Wasdale over Easter?

This Friday (18 April) the free Wasdale Explorer shuttle bus service will begin 🚐

Running from Ravenglass to Wasdale Head, it can drop you off at the starting point for walks to Scafell, Scafell Pike, Great Gable and other fells as well as Wastwater.

As promised, here is some more info on what's happening at West Lakes this season. A few of you may know we took over West Lakes from Steve and Caroline a few month ago and have been working hard to merge it with our other company Path to Adventure🤗! Exciting times!

We've had a busy few months getting ready for the coming season! We will be running a very similar program of activities throughout Eskdale and Wasdale (from our base at Wasdale) along with exciting new activities in the Coniston and Langdale valley!

We are offering loads of activities this Easter aimed specifically at families and have activities to offer families with little ones as young as 5!

Fantastic day today in sunny Eskdale meeting lots of local businesses to introduce ourselves as the new 'West Lakes Adventure' owners and enjoying the local area. We recieved a really warm welcome 🙏 It really is a stunning valley with so many places to visit, stay and eat and drink.

We have added another Ghyll Scrambling session on Thursday Morning as the afternoon is now almost fully booked (1 space left).
