We had a round robin competition this afternoon before closing the green for the end of season work.

Congratulations to:
Garry Williams and Dave Morley winning with 74 points
Ruth Easby and Len Wilson coming second with 73 points

We also had a round robin earlier in the year and the results were as follows:
Ruth Easby and Colin Wilson winning with 85 points
Joint runners up Ron Dromgoole and Kevin Mailey with 71 points and Brian McDonald and Roger Hughes with 71 points

These competitions are very enjoyable and next year hopefully we will be able to have them more often.

Members please note that the AGM will take place on Tuesday
27th October commencing at 1.30pm. Also the Christmas Dinner will be held on Wednesday 9th December commencing at 1pm.

Best wishes
Pat Wilson

TO ALL MEMBERS
Len is scarifying the green both ways on Friday this week and needs at least two members to help him. With help it should only take a couple of hours and he is thinking of starting at 10.30am. Could the volunyeers bring along a rake as we only have the one at the Club.
After this process the green should run alot quicker.
Thank you

With sadness I wish to inform the bowling community that John Davies passed away this morning. John played for the B Team for a number of years but due to ill health has not been able to play recently.
We send our deepest sympathy to his wife Diane and family.

To all Members of the Club

Before our Open Day on Sunday 22nd March I am arranging a working party to help tidy up around the green and also in the clubhouse on Friday 20th March commencing from 11am. Could members make a note of this date and spare a couple of hours to come along.
I will also be available to collect membership fees on the Friday and Sunday.
Many thanks.
