Ever woken up and had no idea where you are?
Welcome to van life. Sometimes I open my eyes, look around in confusion, and do the classic: peer out the window and hope it’s somewhere pretty.
Tea comes first. Always. Non-negotiable.
Once my brain is functioning, it’s time to take Captain Jack out for his morning stroll. If the weather’s behaving, we go on a long walk. If it’s not… we save our bravery for later.
Back to the van for breakfast:
Toast for me
Kibble + veg 🥦 feast for His Royal Fluffiness
Then it’s a couple of hours of work — checking in with clients, scheduling socials, getting everything organised while Jack supervises (usually from a blanket).
Before lunch we squeeze in a quick walk… followed by Jack giving me the saddest puppy dog eyes because he apparently deserves half my toasted sandwich.
Afternoons are either a walk or, if it’s wet, crochet + audiobook + maximum cuddles. Cosy mode fully activated.
We usually move to a new spot for the night, but honestly… that deserves its own post entirely.
