It’s Threshing Day, so obviously I’m planning my trip to Basgiath 🐉

Okay… technically it’s Mont-Saint-Michel in France, but with that fortress, those towers and all the MANY steep stone steps, it’s close enough.

I got a FREE hotel on my layover… and it was SO nice?😳✈️

I had a 20-hour layover in China on my way to New Zealand with China Southern, and the hotel was the perfect way to break up the trip.

Some airlines offer free stopover perks like this, but they’re easy to miss. Got a long layover?
Always check. You could get a hotel, meals or breakfast, and airport transfers at no extra cost.

I got this hotel through China Southern’s layover service in Guangzhou. I didn’t get to choose which hotel, but I still can’t believe how boujee it was ✨
