Due to a cancellation, we have a ticket available for our trip to the Brick Lane Theatre on Thursday June the 11th.
After last year's highly successful visit incorporating afternoon tea, this year we opted for the lunchtime show.
Ticket price is £90.00, this to include coach travel, a three course lunch and a fabulous two hour show.

Just a few days after our return from a brilliant trip to the lsle of Man, we took another trip on the water, but this time a lot closer to home.
We took a full coach, day trip to Wroxham in the Norfolk Broads, on a river and Broads cruise, viewing lots and lots of the wildlife en route, including seeing the most elusive of birds in flight over our boat, a bittern.
Again, a trip definitely appreciated by all, and now looking forward to our next adventure.

We have just returned from a very successful trip to the Isle of Man.
Looking at the feedback forms, it does seem as with all of the trips and tours that we have done, we are getting it right.
However, we don't have many reviews on here, certainly not recently, and it would be nice to hear your views.
Good, bad or indifferent, we would love to know your opinion of what we do to help us get things as good as they can be in the future.
Thank you
Gill and Viv

Sunday, and off to Ramsey, stopping at a little gem of a visit to Milntown House. Fabulous house, complimented by equally beautiful gardens, and a collection of vintage cars and motor cycles.
Leaving there for a visit into the town before taking a ride along the northern section of the TT course, taking in the notorious Ramsey hairpin, past the Bungalow, Joey Dunlops memorial statue , and Agos Leap to name but a few of the points.
Back then to our hotel for our last dinner.

Today's adventure starts with a long coach journey (5 minutes😁) to the Electric Railway station for the ride up to Laxey, and on to the Snae Fell mountain, passing Lady Isabella en route to the summit. A stop on the way back down for a visit to the Laxey Wheel and a look round Laxey. An added bonus was seeing lots of the historic rally cars doing their thing before next months TT motor cycle races.
Back then into Douglas for ice cream

So, moving on from Castletown, a scenic coach trip brings us to the southernmost tip of the island, the Sound. Here, there's the famous Sound cafe, and one of the highlights, the view of the island of the Calf of Man, complete with the addition of the very obliging basking seals on the rocks.
After lunch, and photo shoots we headed off again, this time heading for Peel, shown in next post.

So today we have had a pretty busy day starting with a leisurely steam train ride, from the station here in Douglas, down to Castletown. Once the capital of the island, before it was moved to Douglas, the town boasts the Castle Rushen at its heart.
With the castle, the harbour and of course the giant heron, it made an interesting stop for us.
Moving on from there, we headed south to the tip of the island as seen in our next post
