☀️ Three trips, three kinds of magic… and a heart full of memories I can’t stop replaying. ✨

April took me to the stunning Sani Resort in Halkidiki – where every detail is perfect, the setting is breathtaking, and families are made to feel so welcome.

Then came five magical days gliding down the Rhône on Riverside Ravel – waking up to new scenery each morning, indulging in food that was almost too beautiful to eat, and sinking into the comfiest bed imaginable.

And finally… darling Menorca. Our 15th summer there, slipping into that familiar rhythm of beaches, scuba dives, and long, lazy dinners by the sea.

“Luxury river cruise? Yes please… but what do I wear?”

That was my exact thought before stepping aboard the gorgeous Riverside Ravel last week.
Spoiler: it’s not ballgowns and bowties—but it is effortlessly chic.

Here’s how the dress code played out on board:
👟 Daytime = activewear (depending on your plans)
I went for a bike ride, so it was shorts and a top—easy, breezy, and perfect for pedalling through pretty towns.

🛋️ Lounging around = smart casual
Think linen trousers, nice blouses, jumpsuits… the kind of outfit you could wear from a lazy lunch to a quiet lounge chair with a book.

🌅 Evenings = slightly elevated smart casual
Nothing too formal, but you’ll want to look pulled-together. A midi dress or tailored trousers and a nice top works perfectly.

🍷 Private dining = elegant
Time to dial it up—think dress or something you feel a little glam in.

👔 For the gents: no tie needed, but most opted for a shirt and blazer. Easygoing but polished.

👖 Smart denim? Absolutely.
Just leave the ripped jeans at home.

⚽ 👕 Football shirts? Big no.

This is luxury, after all.

This morning’s truffle hunt was a true moment of discovery.
Wandering through the woods, guided by skilled hands (and noses!), I learned about the magic beneath the earth — the seasons, the search, the subtle art of harvesting these culinary treasures. A beautiful glimpse into a world I’d only ever tasted before.
