Yesterday marked our first day ashore in Hamburg, where we headed out on the city highlights tour along with visiting Miniature Wunderland.
For dinner, we decided to try the ship's second main dining room, which is also included in the cruise fare.
Afterward, we headed straight to the silent discoโ€”a total first for me, but everyone had an absolute blast!
We wrapped up a great day with a beautiful, late-night sailaway.

Celebration night gave us the perfect excuse to dress up.
Before heading out for the evening our cabin steward delivered a voucher for a complimentary glass of fizz from P&O Cruises โ€”a lovely touch to kick off the night.
We all enjoyed a delicious meal in one of the main dining rooms which is included in your cruise fare, before going on to finish the evening with Stephen Mulhernโ€™s spectacular show, Unbelievable.

After a long day yesterday due to the delays with air traffic control and our flight being cancelled from Newcastle down to Southampton, today is the day we get to board P&Oโ€™s Aurora.
Iโ€™ll post a couple of updates whilst Iโ€™m away but Iโ€™m off to explore and gain first hand knowledge of the ship for 5 nights.
