Young Ellis landed his first Salmon yesterday while out fishing with his uncle Simon Hill on Loch Tay in their own boat.
Well done team Hill.

A lovely 9lb bar of Silver.

So, just to clarify.

Well, its been a productive week so far on the Loch. About time.

So I've now calmed down after the high of catching that big fish, 33lb, in a wet net. So to find out the actual weight I went down to weigh my wet net today to get an exact weight of the fish. The net weighed 1.25 kg which in pounds is 2.7lbs making the fish 30.3lbs.

Can't believe i actually got a fish over the 30lb.
Fish of a lifetime most likely, but ye just never know on Loch Tay.

Well, that was a scrap. 33lb c**k fish. Weighed in a wet net. 30.3lb after net weighed wet, and deducted..
