After 20 years of providing transport for the local community, the North West Community Bus Association. 🚐 will be closing its doors & hanging up the keys.🔑

The North West Community Bus Association was started by a community initiative 20 years ago.
The Chairman and the Transport Coordinator of the Association are retiring at the end of the year. The Association is at present run by volunteers This maybe an opportunity for someone in the community to take on this role. This could be a paid position although they would not be able to sit on the committee. The Association is registered as a charity but this could be
de registered to enable someone to turn the Association into a viable company with paid drivers.
The Association has received funding from Highland Council and this will have to be re negotiated.
Informal talks can take place with any interested parties.
