Traditionally this is the time of year we get loads of enquiries and I mean loads.
However I can’t help just now, the flat isn’t advertised, it’s not available at the moment. The law in Scotland is that tenants have to give just 28 days notice if they wish to leave. It’s not us landlords trying to make life harder for students looking for accommodation, we simply don’t yet know what our current students plans are for the next academic year. Then when they leave we are on the clock to get the property looking 👌 for the next lot of tenants. Although we have such lovely tenants this year and I’ll be thrilled if they choose to stay.
The best thing to do is remain calm and don’t panic, because most landlords are in the same position. Just keep checking the pages that advertise student properties for an update.
