The customers designed it and we built it 📐

Working up in Kinross on this beauty of a media wall 😍

📌 We built a Chimney breast centre of the room to house fireplace to store logs in. For a tiled finish inside.
📌Solid oak mantelpiece above for a better visual impact.
📌Floating shelves on one side with a metal bar recessed in between them to stop sagging and bowing over time.
📌Base Units with a push to open mechanism housed inside for a non handle look.
📌Oak slats up either side with a green MDF background.
📌Oak picture frame tv mounted with in the oak slats
📌 Lastly, routered out a channel for strip lights to sit into under the shelf’s for mood lighting.

We would like to thank the returning customers for the endless supply of coffee, biscuits and choosing us to build their media wall.

2025, a year of highs and lows for Paul Smith Joinery but we got there. Both of us would like to say a massive thank you to both new and existing customers and to our timber merchants for all the support and custom.
Working in two gyms this year ( hopefully a 3rd to come at the start of next year), countless bathrooms with Burleigh Bathrooms and other works carried out along the way it’s definitely one to remember. Time to rest and unwind before the 2026 year 🥊

2024 over and out 🫡

Another year full of bathrooms, screwing bits of wood together and nailing stuff to walls 🤣

From doors, bathrooms, bespoke cabinets and finishing work and putting a conservatory up in -4 temperatures 🥶. this year has been non stop like the rest. A well earned break ready to hit the ground running in 2025.

Pergola Pitched Roof ☀️

Here we put a pitched roof on an existing Pergola 😎

What a difference this makes to the customers garden 😃 Putting a 4x2” perimeter around the inside and out of the pergola to square and level the posts of before putting the roof on. Felt Shingles were added to give the slate effect look and to keep the rain out. Also adding Gallow brackets to the pergola to distribute the weight and give the pergola integral support with the extra weight being added 🥵
